Anxiety

Does anyone know of any good remedies? I have a doctor's appointment on Friday for it, but it is really bad and I'm looking for something that might help in the meantime.

For me, really hard exercise helps, like I will run on my elliptical for an hour until I've run out of sweat and can't walk. It let's me literally burn off steam, then I sleep really well, and afterward I tend to feel more "awake" and engaged in life in general.
