Yep, I'm full of it....

Turkey and taters and dressing, that is!

Yesterday, went to--what is becoming a tradition--TG dinner with some friends who are 'holiday orphans' like me, for which I am always thankful! The food was plentiful and delicious (leftovers too), the wine (sometimes homemade) was flowing, the company was enjoyable, and even if I lose at dominoes (like yesterday), the games are always fun. I may not have a job, I may not have a lot of other things, but God truly has blessed my...

How dumb am I never to have taken advantage of early voting until just recently? In and out in 5 minutes, tops. No waiting. No problems parking. No lines. What a joy. Plus I got a nifty sticker, ooh ahh.

I then wandered over to the brand spankin' new Sprouts store that just opened in the neighboring town of Murphy.

Well, THAT was a mistake.

Ummm. OK. Whatever.

Please get back into the studio and make some more music, LOL.

(ok, i admit that i'm kinda jealous cos the last co. i worked for had a chance to have Bono speak to them as well, and the CEO turned him down...but i'm not bitter)

Vertigo redux...uh, kinda

I stumbled upon some information on a pastor named Steve Gray, who calls out churches--mega and otherwise--who are way too culturally driven. You know the ones...they offer coffee bars, have 'so hip it hurts' pastors, and offer more 'fluff' than giving God's starving people what they really need: the meat of the Gospel. After poking around a bit, I found some hilarious and thought provoking skits on YouTube by Steve, his wife Kathy, and their acting crew, including this very odd version of VERTIGO...
