Rainy Finale for Brussels

Another 360 Degrees show, another downpour.
The umbrellas were out yet again Thursday night, and rain seemed to hang heavy as a theme during a soggy second evening in Brussels; seems that, as this moisture-drenched European leg of the tour soldiers on, the boys in U2 might be getting a bit tired of all the inclement weather.
Amongst the 11 snippets sprinkled throughout the set were allusions to The Beatles’ “Rain”, Tina Turner’s “Can’t Stand the Rain”, and no less than three references to “Singin’ in the Rain”, including one that accompanied show-closer “Moment of Surrender”.
Beyond the occasionally heavy bursts of water dropping onto the crowd from the heavens, the big story was the inclusion of “Angel of Harlem” and “Bad” in the setlist, the latter returning to the tour after a year out of commission, and the former appearing after a nearly 14-month absence. Conspicuously missing from the setlist were “Sunday, Bloody Sunday” and the unreleased material performed during the first night in Brussels; a snippet of Talking Heads’ “Life During Wartime” received its 360 tour debut during “Crazy Tonight”.
The tour continues Sunday in San Sebastian, Spain.

A “Bad” is always good. Sounds like an epic wet wonder.
