“Mercy” Makes Its Moment in Shorter Zurich Setlist

U2 played its second show in Zurich by pleasing the hardcore fans with the live debut of “Mercy.”

As pleased as fans were with the inclusion of this song in the setlist following much speculation after its soundcheck appearance, the general euphoria about the show was dampened significantly at the show’s end when rain or curfew or both brought the night to an early end.

The usual extended encore ended up dramatically and drastically condensed.

Fans discussing the show almost immediately forgave the abbreviated length to focus on their interpretations of the amazing track “Mercy,” a song that’s been around for some time and is just now resurfacing.
